These wedges were matching counterparts to the Ping i5 cavity-back irons and featured a leading edge and bounce angles engineered to ensure a smooth transition through the turf, and from the rough to aid workability. The i5 wedges were manufactured in the following versions:

PW: 46° loft, 63.1° lie
UW: 50° loft, 64.4° lie
SW: 54° loft, 64.7° lie
LW: 58° loft, 65.1° lie
